ALL SAINTS DAY SCHOOL
“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” Albert Einstein At All Saints we inspire… · The discipline and integrity to be successful in school and in life · An appreciation for the diversity and cultural wonder of urban life · A responsibility for this planet and gratitude for its beauty · A developed sense of one’s own spirituality through social action and service · A sincere love of learning
We are an interdenominational school of more than 140 students in Nursery through Fourth Grades, located on the corner of 7th and Washington Streets in Hoboken, New Jersey. In September, 2008, we will welcome our first fifth grade class, as we move forward with the development of a middle school, eventually reaching eighth grade. All Saints Episcopal Parish is our proud sponsor. In addition to teaching a core curriculum of Language Arts, Mathematics and Science and an array of special subjects (e.g., Spanish, Art, Music, Dance, Physical Education, Economics, and Community Service), the school also nurtures academic excellence and social responsibility for early childhood and elementary school children through enriched experiences in an urban community. We believe that children are spiritual beings and naturally question the nature of their existence and their place within the larger human family. We encourage and support important “spiritual conversations” in which children can share their thoughts and questions, and make fundamental connections with children from the different faith backgrounds found in our community Come explore the exciting, challenging and innovative programs we can offer your child!
