| The Vestry is the governing board of the Church. It oversees the property, finances, ministry and mission of the congregation. It meets 10 times a year, usually on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Each Vestry member is also asked to serve on a committee. Regular Sunday attendance is also an important requirement of serving on the Vestry. People are elected to two year terms not to exceed six consecutive years.
The Day School Board of Trustees is elected by the Vestry to work with the Head of School to provide oversight, support, and governance for this ministry of the Parish. The Day School is certified by the National Association of Independent Schools, and we follow their guidelines and structures for governing our school. 50% of the elected members of the Board are to be Parish members. The Board meets 5 times a year on the third Wednesday of the month, and each member of the Board serves on one or more committees that do their work in between these meetings. People are elected to two year terms not to exceed six consecutive years.
The Jubilee Center Board of Trustees is primarily focused on fundraising support for the Center. It oversees the individual giving campaign, fundraising events in the local community, grant writing, and other activities that provide support for the operating budget of the Center. The Board also does a lot of publicity and marketing for the Center. The Board meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. People are elected to a one year term.
